The new, updated revision of the CCR1009 is here. We've tried to incorporate all the customer feedback and best practices in CCR device manufacturing that we've learned over the past three years, since the first CCR1009 devices were released.
Important changes
No switching chip: The device now only has fully independent Ethernet ports, each with a direct connection to the CPU, overcoming the previous 1 Gbit shared limitation of switching chip ports and utilizing the full potential of the CPU's processing power on those ports.
100Mbps SFP Compatibility: This is our first device to support 100BASE-LX/100BASE-SX/100BASE-BX fiber modules, as well as standard 1.25G SFP modules.
More performance: Because the ports are now connected directly to the CPU, the new CCR1009 can achieve even greater performance.
