IC-SAT100 Mobile Radio

The Icom IC-SAT100 allows users worldwide to communicate with a group of PTT radios at the touch of a button. To do this, the IC-SAT100 utilizes the Iridium® satellite network, which covers the Earth, including both poles, providing wide-area global communication anywhere on the planet.

Emergency functions

Stay alert and informed with the convenient emergency key function. Pressing and holding the orange key on top of the radio will send an emergency call to other pre-programmed radios. Users can also use the priority interrupt function to broadcast important messages.

AquaQuake™

With an IP67 rating, this radio is waterproof up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes and dustproof. The AquaQuake™ feature ensures the radio stays dry inside. When AquaQuake™ is activated, the radio vibrates, pushing water out of the speaker grille.

Secure communication

Communicate with confidence using short data messages or PTT in secure 256-bit AES encryption.

In the use of buildings or vehicles

With the optional AH-40 antenna, the IC-SAT100 can be used inside vehicles. Bluetooth® capability allows for hands-free operation while driving. The BC-247 docking station is required to keep it mounted and powered.

Interoperable display

The speaker microphone features a display and button layout similar to the IC-SAT100M. Easily switch between portable and mobile units. The speaker microphone display also offers multilingual functionality.
